Second place in silver cup

I'm pretty happy with getting second place in the silver cup on the game Need For Speed Nitro.  It has unlocked new cars and new races.  I just missed out on winning three races in a row, when I took a wrong turn and ended up trying to jump a missing section of road and crashed, leaving the other cars to overtake.  I managed to get back to fifth place but ran out of laps.

So some free tips for you racers out there.

Keep picking up badges to reduce the heat on you and get the cops to hound your nearest rival.

Look out for short cuts.  A damaged car has reduced or no Nitro boost, so pick up a wrench to repair as soon as possible.

Keep driving in real life safe and legal!

Need For Speed Nitro

I had a successful session on the above game on the Wii last night.  Managed to get a maximum five stars on many of the racing events.  I certainly improved on circuit races, eliminator, drift challenge and time attack.  The only thing I struggle with is the speed camera challenge, so any tips on this would be appreciated.

Finally got to grips with drifting.  Please note that street racing is illegal in Real Life!

Have been busy on Second Life, now have some land that I can do what I want with, it has only taken several years to find such reasonably priced land, with a tier payment that's manageable.  Will post a SLURL here at some point this week, so if you have an SL account you can pay us a visit.

All for now, take care.

It's good to be back.

It's nice to be back after the holiday weekend, where someone got married!  I avoided the Royal Wedding as much as possible although it was on in the house.  At least it went smoothly and was well organised with nothing apart from a hangover on the Saturday morning to complain about.  Whilst there were some arrests, from the little I saw of it - it made you feel proud to be British.

Yesterday, I managed to catch up with some television programmes that I had recorded on Sky Plus.  One of which was a UFO Files documentary which had been on History Channel.  It was about the Rendlesham Forest UFO incident.
